isnotgallery is an art gallery for contemporary art and culture. Founded in 2008 – in a renovated building within the Venetian Walls of Old Nicosia – by the photographer Andros Efstathiou, isnotgallery contemporary supports Cypriot and European artists in the development and exhibition of their work. It offers the opportunity to the audience to get acquainted with “du jour” tendencies in contemporary art, such as the fluctuating art market through the thematic group exhibitions Lush Art in Austere Times which is annual since 2009, Everything is connected, Pop Nouveau and Artists in Print [AIP].

isnotgallery presents a programme of solo and group contemporary exhibitions in painting, photography, sculpture and multimedia.

Over the past twelve years isnotgallery contemporary has been a pioneer in the development and presentation of contemporary art in Cyprus. isnotgallery contemporary is situated in the heart of Old Nicosia, the last divided European capital, and is pivotal to the continued growth of the city’s most vibrant contemporary art quarter.

isnotgallery contemporary is open to artists of all nationalities, gender, colour and religion.
