Constantinos Stefanou was born in Nicosia. He studied Education at the Pedagogical Academy of Cyprus and at the University of Ioannina, Greece. He studied Art and Design at London Guildhall University, UK (1989 – 1993).
Since 1995 he has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In 1988, he represented Cyprus at the 7th International Biennale of Cairo, Egypt. He was awarded the 1st Prize at “The Direct Association”, Art Competition in London in 1994.
In the framework of the EU Cyprus Presidency in 2012, he was selected to present a series of his works at the Cordoaria National in Lisbon, Portugal. His paintings can be found in various private and public collections in Cyprus and abroad. Constantinos Stefanou also teaches Art in primary schools in Nicosia.
